Our MATSA Annual Meeting will take place on Wednesday October 18th, 2006, 10 AM-1 PM ( lunch included) at the ( recently re-named) Worcester Hotel and Conference Center, 500 Lincoln St, Worcester 01605.  For specific travel directions, go to:

David Thornton Ph.D. will give our Annual presentation lecture (11-12, then lunch + discussion) and he will discuss empirical factors associated with sexual offender recidivism as well as factors associated with successful treatments.

Casey Chapman, LICSW, of the Clearview Center has graciously volunteered to coordinate conference/lunch planning and she needs to hear for participants  by 10/11/06 at the latest so we have enough refreshments.

If you see, hear, or read a particularly effective and responsible media presentation having to do with any aspect of sex offenses, please let MATSA know so that it can be considered for MATSA's annual media award given at the April Conference.
